The discovery of painting from life, many painting trips with artist friends,  and the pure enjoyment of the outdoor landscape are the foundation of works created.  Finding the incredible lights and shadows as they appear all around us are inspiration for the next painting “en plein air”.    I have painted all over  the U.S. and in Spain,  France,  the Netherlands and Italy.
