James Crandall
After many years as a professional illustrator, James Crandall has re-dedicated himself to his fine art work, exhibiting in several national juried events including the OPA 19th Annual National and the California Art Club's 99th Gold Medal Exhibition.

Much of his most recent body of work, derived from extended trips to visit his mother's family in Italy, depict scenes of daily life near his grandfather's hometown of Lucca, in Tuscany. Paintings from this series have already received awards from competitions in California and Oregon, and been shown at the Allied Artists of American Annual in New York City.
