Stefano Giusti was born in 1962. From an early age, he loved photography. The proof was that as soon as he finished the required schooling, he attended a school to become a professional photographer. His first experiences in the profession were a mix of experimentation driven by curiosity to try the latest techniques available at the time, along with the old process of the past.
The process of developing negatives gave the work an artisans feel, that touched on the roots of the craft found in the photos of Alinari, the inspiration of all photographers. The light and mixtures of whites and greys found in the forms and geometry were what attracted him to subjects.
Stefano always seeks to capture an equilibrium between the two. In the now obligatory use, or even abuse, of digital photography his passions continue to immortalize what he sees in nature. He seeks to capture a moment in time, to reflect and to elevate the view, the image, to art. For this Florentine artist, nothing is too ugly or too beautiful to prevent him from attempting to capture emotions of the viewer, or himself, with the camera.
