Ayca Sivrikoz

Ayca Sivrikoz is a Houston-based oil painter whose work explores the beauty of everyday moments through expressive brushwork, vibrant color, and the interplay of light and atmosphere. Working in an impressionistic style, she seeks to capture not simply the appearance of a subject, but the feeling and energy of a fleeting moment.
Her artistic journey has been shaped by a diverse international background. Before dedicating herself more fully to painting, Sivrikoz built a career in engineering, an experience that informs her thoughtful approach to composition, structure, and the natural world. Having lived and traveled extensively across Europe, the Middle East, Russia, Canada, and Turkey, she draws inspiration from the landscapes, architecture, and visual experiences encountered throughout her life.
Sivrikoz continues to develop her artistic practice through workshops and intensive study. Her oil paintings encompass landscapes, architectural scenes, still lifes, portraits, and intimate studies of nature, unified by her interest in color, texture, and the expressive possibilities of paint.
Her work has been exhibited in Houston, including at the Glassell School of Art, where her paintings were selected for the Annual Student Exhibition and the Kinder Morgan Exhibition. Her paintings are also available through Jack Meier Gallery in Houston.
