Luisa Luisa Duarte’s works has a strong connection with her Latin American roots, with special focus in the geometrical abstract movement, a movement adopted by Latin America during the late 50’s. It was very prominent in Venezuela. Her works are focused on explorations of shapes, lines , color and also on memories of her childhood in a promising country. Those memories are transformed into dynamic works invoking good energies to bring back what we have lost. Duarte
